Hi,

Received this as a Christmas present for my new LG G5 smartphone

It is a mini 32 Bit DAC with amplifier that can be plugged directly into the LG G5. Alternatively, it can be used with the supplied cable with other Android devices.

I have tried it in both configurations and it sounds very very good. Tried it both with Spotify Premium and with FLAC and WAV files. It worked with my Nexus 5 phone too. It really is a huge improvement on the inbuilt DACs.

I would keep it were not for the fact that I recently bought myself a Sony HD MP3 player with a 128gb SD card.

I see it on Amazon at £130 but I will take £70 delivered. https://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-Electronics-AFD-1200-AEUBK-Hi-Fi-Plus/dp/B01DAER41K

PS> I also received the LG CamPlus module which adds manual controls to the excellent LG G5 camera. An additional benefit is that it has a built in battery which extends the life of the phone between charges. This module is available on Amazon at £69 but I will take £49 delivered. This is still unopened in factory packaging.

It ocurred to me that I should indicate how small this DAC is.

Here it is atop my bank card. When used with the LG G5 phone the bottom part detaches and replaces the standard phone part. For use as an external DAC the cable shown connects it to an Android device. There is a 3.5mm headphone socket and microphone in the base of the DAC.
