As I have built myself a type 26 DHT pre-amp, http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/tubes-valves/151421-26-pre-amp.html this is no longer needed. But until I built that, this kept coming back into my system, no matter what else I tried. It may not be perfect, but it worked into every valve or transistor power amp I used; even into my active crossover. It is pretty transparent, and at it's price is unbeatable, IMO. But I want a new DAC, so I have been reliably informed I must sell. Or else!
It is in great condition, and I have added a pair of Promitheus +6dB transformers (if you need some gain; I never did as it turned out!), a ground lift switch, and replaced the Chinese selector switch with an Elma. This is the version with stainless steel top and bottom plates, and I have added Dynamat damping under the lid and under the transformers. One pair of the outputs is standard, the other is +6dB.
I am asking for £200 plus £10 p&p. Firm. Insurance would add a bit to that, if you require. Sorry about the picture quality, but my phone camera plus Photobucket is not a great combination.
