is there a point to having that amount, or does he sell them? if he played 1 a week it would take him 8 years to get back to beginning

That's what I always think. Here's little old me trying to find just one decent deck at a price I can afford so I can, y'know, actually use it to make music with...and then i see dudes like that, stockpiling them just to look at/satisfy their weird desire to own one or multiples of everything! I just don't get collectors, I guess. If something's not being used on the regular, I get rid so someone else can have the pleasure. But that's me.

Can you imagine having all those machines and only a few tapes to play? I would much rather have manageable number of machines and lots of music to play. That's the way I'm heading :)
