*FREE* - Mission 717 Speakers

Pair of Mission 717 speakers - free to good home.

One tweeter is missing and obviously requires replacement. They use the Audax HD100 small magnet version. This is the same as used in Kef Coda 2 and probably loads of other things.
Working otherwise and probably sound half decent when fixed. Cabinets need refinishing but there is no significant damage. No grilles (I think they used foam ones).

I have no problem if you want to fix them and sell them on, use yourself or strip for parts.

I've got a pair of Audax HD100 tweeters...who ever gets these can have them for a fiver...which will cover the postage and packing....Big Al....

edit : only available to the recipient of the speakers..or the OP if he wants them to fit them himself...

They need to be the less common small magnet version (or you'll need to get busy with the dremel).

cool...the magnets measure 73mm across...

I've got a pair of mission 710 speakers on the way from Shaman (Gratis) wondered if I could've nicked a driver out of the 717 but on checking it's not a match.

Anyone got one lying about ?
