Hi Guys
A question for you all regarding a buyer from France.
I have a couple of item for sale, I have an interest from a guy in France.
Haven't figured out if he is genuine yet. Will exchange a couple of emails and see what I feel from that.
If I decide to deal with him, I will get him to sort out his own courier and pickup.
The question is how do I get him to make safe payment.
Direct bank transfer seems to be the better option, but can he still make a drawback at a later date?
Is there a better method?
Any idea's guys?

Bank Transfer, can't be withdrawn once sent, its sent.

I will try and confirm with my bank, but if he made a transfer payment from a credit card can this be drawn back at a later date.
If I find a definitive answer I will post the info.
Though cheers for the replies so far.

Just get him to make a BACS transfer to your account, the funds cannot be returned.

Hello Andy,

Good to hear from you again - you've been pretty quiet of late. Trust everything is going well for you.

Yes - do as Ali suggests, once the funds have been sent they cannot be recalled.

Hi Barry
Yep, been very quiet recently.
Just sort of concentrated on the music, and enjoying listening far more.
Think I lost the habit of dropping by, but seem to have regained my interest.
Always enjoyed seeing what others are listening to, a good source of inspiration for new stuff.
Every thing fine too, no changes on the audio front. Just a bit of clearing out of gear I don't use.
It's a shame just to put it away so decided to sell.
Will post how it turns out.

The buyer in France will need your IBAN and BARC or other international bank transfer codes, if he asks for these good chance he's genuine. Non reversible!

Thanks Gary
Good info, will see what he asks for and gauge how the deal feels from that point.
