IC: Thorens TD520 with 10in arm

Anyone interested in one of these lovelies? Not mint (there are some some superficial marks) but functionally 100 per cent, comes with an ultra rare 10in Thorens tonearm, spare blank standard AND acrylic armboards and a box of all the spares you'll ever need. Auto arm lift at the record end, three speeds, all electronic speed selection, strobe light not working but speed fine-tune is. Needs a new belt but those aren't too hard to find. Will take pretty much any arm you want. Would need to be collected from Bedford (got the transport bolts but don't fancy sending it by courier). I have no idea how much to ask for it yet but thought I'd see if anybody was interested before taking more pix.

Happy new year everybody!

Have had quite a few enquiries so have finally got around to taking some more pix (once my head stopped throbbing!) Have tried to highlight the marks present but they are purely cosmetic. Have also taken a pic of the accessories I purchased from DualFred in Germany, a chap who appears to have the last remaining New Old Stock bits for these (the belt shown is not included, was for a different deck).

Price-wise, have seen that UKD sold a wood-finish version (with lid and a slightly different arm) for £1395 last year. This one is in black and doesn't have a lid (though it's possible to fabricate a sit-on type). Will come without a cartridge as the Grado I have on there is end of life and I'm rather attached to it. Given the condition of the deck (and the extras supplied) I'm going to say £800 is a fair price.

Whoa. In my opinion, it’s a crazy bargain at 600 pounds. Sorting the strobe lamp shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

TOTAL bargain. And you're right, the strobe isn't much of an issue of at all, never really saw the need to get it fixed. The fine-speed adjustment works perfectly... just use your ears :-)
