I bought these awhile ago as they had received some positive comments and I wanted to try them. I preferred what I had at the time and they have been sat around since.
I have now sold them twice on ebay only to have the 'buyers' fail to turn up to collect, so I thought I'd try on here.
They are in good working order with all drivers working and undamaged. I believe these are the Mk1 model.
They are not perfect cosmetically. The cabinets have a few knocks but nothing major. The panels at the rear have very slightly separated at the corners although it is only at the surface and the cabinets remain sound and acoustically unaffected. I have run a bit of wood glue into the (very thin) gap to make sure it doesn't progress. This is a common issue with the Mk1 6 series as the particle board dries out over time.
The grilles are all separate. A couple have small holes in the cloth although they can be oriented so it doesn't really notice. One grille had a cracked frame when I got the speakers, so I repaired this very soundly with epoxy putty.
I have 'sold' them twice at £110 on ebay, so I'd like around £100 for them please. I'd also be prepared to swap them for an amp or turntable of similar value.
Collection only from just outside Bicester please. I have a garage full of other speakers which have been accumulated over the years (it's a disease) which I'd like shot of, and a few other bits if that makes the trip any more worthwhile.
