I'm fine :D How are you mate ?
Not bad, actually. Didn't start boozing until dinner so only had 4 glasses of wine all night. Might have overdone it a bit on the grub, but is was pretty good.
Only had one beer and large glen moray in early evening for painkilling purposes of course.

Was on cooking duties yesterday so behaved myself till we sat down and ate.
Didn't dabble to heavy actually (which isn't always the case...m'lud)
Over ate rather than over drank...feel like a barrage balloon!

And here. Had two plates full and cleared them both, which isn't like me. Didn't get to sleep until 2 am and was up at 0715. Think it is still working its way through me.

Reasonably chipper today. The grog didn't seem to have any effect yesterday, probably all the grub soaking it up.
Dropping off the mother in law now and looking forward to getting home to my box of craft brews and a bit of a vinyl session.

My head is fine, as most of the alcohol I drank yesterday was wine based, so nothing was being badly mixed together. Enjoying a rather fine Dow's vintage port at the moment, from 1975, which I decanted yesterday, with some of Del's superb home-made Christmas cake - yum yum!
Then later she's making a tomato and red wine risotto, as a sharp contrast to yesterday's roast goose, which we'll be enjoying with some crusty bread and a nice bottle of Barolo. Life is good! :cheers:

Aye , we'll probably have a something simpler today following the excesses of yesterday :D
Had the remains of xmas meal, so lifes good here. Not got much food in tbh, as i dont stock up. Dont see point really and there is always tins and whats in freezer if i get stuck. Plus i can make my own bread etc. Weather is currently stopping me from venturing out, although its supposed to ease off soon. I dont eat a lot now anyways normally. Or drink.

Yes, did both bottles in yesterday with dinner. It was lovely although preferred one to the other, the Venier (?) was a bit full on, although it grew on me, but the other one was a very nice drop. Many thanks
Sounds like it was the Medoc you preferred, which was the one with the navy blue label and gold writing, if you remember? :)

Got a box of chokkys for xmas so i will try and avoid eating them. M&S thick choc too.:eyebrows:

Dunno about booze, but I've got a thick head this morning. I thought I was coughing and sneezing a bit more than usual yesterday and woke up with a feverish cold today. Bugger!
