Yes, tried the twist speaker cable. Didn't care for it, thin hard sound and artificial upper end lift.

Did however have better results with some of their mains cable, the stuff in the yellow silicone sleeve which I used to make up some inexpensive mains cables. Nothing spectacular but it's flexible enough and good quality and that's enough for me.

Thanks Rich

Using Oyaide cables everywhere else but I have the option of a couple of mains cables and read all the positive comments on web sites( They are not cheap new). Just wanting to know from real people who have used them. Not wanting a debate on do they or don't they work bla bla bla bla as this is a subject that can divide the audio world:lol: and will go on for ever.

I also use Black Rhodium mains cables.
Cut to lenght and fitted with decent connectors they do their job very good. I use the yellowish one for low power units and the pinkish one for poweramps and such. (the latter one is of a similar construction i belive, but a bit thicker)
I have been happy with these and only changed in my main rig when i was awarded a couple of Nordost Heimdal 2's as a business deal. Tbh i haven't heard any noticeable difference. I probably could never tell 'em apart in a blind test.
I also have a bit of Twist (the white silicon jacketed loosely twisted one?) which gets some use now and then. They work fine in my setup and sounds decent enough, if not the best ive heard.
Cheers
Mike

Thank you for the info. I think I will just get them as the price is good and the build quality is spot on.
