WANTED: Rogers JR149 bass speaker

Hi Alex I believe the JR149 used the same drivers as the LS3/5a's so I guess that makes it a Kef B110 driver

They come up fairly often on eBay but sometimes at silly money

Or failing that I believe Falcon Acoustics are now re-manufacturing the drivers

Those are the 8 ohm standard type Bev. Alex needs the specific Rogers version with higher impedance. The Plastiflex doping is coming away from the cone centre on those ebay examples. It can be restored, but most people won't know how.

Actually now I think about it weren't all the B110's 6 or 8 ohm ?

Wasn't it something else in the LS3/5a / JR149 that made it 11 or 15 ohm.... ?

there is a single jr149 speaker on ebay for £120 posted. cant vouch for the seller tho, but feedback seems ok.
dont know how to post a link but if you search jim rogers single loudspeaker it should come up.
