Hi everyone,
My name is Nikola(it's boy's name here) end I come from Croatia.

My system is ( for now):
Macbook pro Retina , Audirvana + conected via toslink to Beresford Caiman MK2 DAC.
I am using Abrahamsen V2.0 UP amplifier to drive my old Monitor Audio BR5 speakers.

Really want to upgrade speakers....I have kit from IPL acoustic for 7 months now but did not have time to do the panels cut in MDF the build them.
I am planing to upgrade DAC with linear PSU soon.
One other thing that I need quite urgent is some sort of computer for music server. Still not quite sure what is the best option MACmini,NUC
Aries mini....

My music is mainly rock, sometimes blues and rarely some sort of jazz.
I am listening electronic music too but no so much like before.

Cheers!

Hello Nikola. Welcome to AOS.

There's plenty of info here about digital music. Check out the Digital Expressions section.

If you have further plans for your system apart from the speakers we'd like to hear what they are.

Enjoy the forum,
Geoff.

Welcome Nikola,

I've been using IPL speakers for about 3 years now and I am very pleased with them, they punch well above their weight so to speak. I didn't build them myself as my DIY skills are non-existent!!

Thank you all for the warm welcome.
I plan to put some pictures when I finish IPL speakers and when I get the PSU.
I've caught a cold for weekend and I am still not good but at least I can read this interesting forum.

Cheers!

Hi Nikola, welcome to AOS. V2.0 Up nice. Apparently good amps, yet to hear one. My mrs was in Croatia recently seeing friends there, but more south and coastal ( Split & Hvar)
