For sale, my modified Technics SL1210 Mk II turntable.
Superb condition, essentially unmarked. This originally came from an outfit called BopDJ as a refurbished deck, fully serviced. BopDJ used to source quality used decks but I don’t think they are able to find them these days so don’t sell them any more. When they were last selling them, the prices had risen substantially to over £500. They only sold the best condition decks.
This deck has an MCRU external power supply fitted, an Achromat platter mat and a KAB tonearm damper. I’ll also provide a Sumiko headshell (no cartridge).
I reckon all the bits must have cost me approaching £1000 in total. I’m looking for £600 with the proviso that it is collection only from Reading (not far off Jn 10 M4).
