I am speechless... http://theprogmeister.com/greg-lake-1947-2016/:(
2/3rds of one of my fav prog bands gone with just Karl Palmer left. Wasnt a big fan of kc, but liked a lot of elp. Its been a bad year indeed. I guess all the greats of my youth are getting to that age, especially with the oft heavy lifestyles they had when young. Anyway, cozy will be there so the other elp will be reformed.

Although my playing of his/their music is only sporadic, I am deeply saddened by the loss of this icon of Prog Rock. OK so I was more moved emotionally by the loss of David Bowie but ELP has been a bigger part of my life than Bowie ever was. Brain Salad Surgery will always be one of my top albums.
