Can i just say this joke is everything thats wrong with music today. :mental:
Andre its just a repeat of history
Cannot stand X Factor but this has been going on in one form or another way back to the 60s
You always have to search for good music just unlikely to see it on mainstream tv and hear it on the radio
Look on the bright side....
It's finished! :rave:

Don't forget to buy a copy of RATM if only to send a message to cowell...
:steam:
I saw a headline that Cowell is getting money from the RATM track too, so he won't care if this is true...
What I feel is the tragedy, is that potentially great singers are groomed to "sing" total pap through a auto-tune device (so they don't have to be good singers in any case) and mime their performances "live" as JLS are currently doing..
At least Rhianna (non X factor) can sing live, although even she's is being given pap in recent times...
Frankly, I couldn't care less if it was on every night of the year. We rarely watch TV anyway.:)

I havent watched TV for years, but that is not the point is it? I do not even like the track by RATM, but that isn't the issue either. What is important is that as long as the charts are controlled by one man, proper musical talent will be stifled in preference to whatever shite he regards is going to make him most money. I obviously cannot speak for others but I think that is a pretty damn important point.
