How hard/easy is it to remove the ReVox A77 front so as to get to the power bulb ?

Thanks for that, I have the service manual already, I should try reading it, and yes it all looks quite simple.

yeah look in the manual sec 3.3 page 6

Pull off all the pot knobs and power switch and remove the 2 screws marked B
whilst you are there take to opportunity to give the pots and switches a spray with deoxit

It was serviced earlier this year before I bought it so I assume all that was done. It since has developed
a loose power bulb, which I am told is quite common because of the design of the bulb holder, maybe
one day when I heat up my soldering iron I can replace it with an LED.

Thanks for the tips and the spray, will get some to have at hand.

EDIT: Well I was going to get some but its a bit pricey, £21 a can :/

LOL yeah its not cheap, you can use Servisol 10 from Maplins as an alternative.

Had the front panel off and fixed the loose power bulb/lamp, well fixed it for now until it rattles loose again, not the best designed bulb/lamp holder in the world.
