Hi All,

I have played different kind of stuff nearly 25 years and somehow my circle has closed, coz I am now back where I started this hobby. I have sold my cd-player and moved back to vinyl. There was 20 years without it and now when I took my old Luxman back I was back there what I has searching for very long time. I was lucky to keep all of my nearly 400 vinyls waiting for me and a sound of those are unbelivable relaxing.

I also have laptop + Beresford caiman, but I haveīt time to test it yet, I also have new old TT Yamaha GT-2000L +YSA2/YA-39, but it just arrived from Japan and also waiting some action. Perhaps Christmas time I know much more about those both atleast I hope that. At the moment I use Sennheiser HD 580 precision+Corda 3move+main pc(itunes 320kb/s) quite nice sound canīt blame

Rest of my set is Karan Acoustics i180, Reference 3A Royal Virtuoso, EAR 834p German diy Telefunken NOS, some cables from Acoustica Zen/Crystal C. Old stuff, but works beautifully.

I listen to all kind of music, but mostly between grunge/hard rock/metal genre are my favorite.

Best Regards

Hi Ari and welcome,

I spent two weeks of the summer in Sweden, love that part of the world.
Hifi shops are a bit thin on the ground up there, we ended up in a shop called Hifi clubben, mostly Nad and B&W stuff not a valve in sight, i heard some top of the range Dalis there as well, better with the grills on, a bit shouty otherwise

Pictures of your system in the gallery section would be nice, we like pictures here;)

Hi Ari,
You're going to love this place, welcome!

I have sold my cd-player and moved back to vinyl.
Wow! That's commitment! Most folks hang on to a CD player for 'emergencies' and 'just in case'.
Cheers

Hi Ari

Welcome to AOS.

What a very nice set up you have...Ref 3A speakers.....lovely. I have met their designer Tash (A real Gentleman) and own a pair of Ref3a Dulcetes (The Royal Virtuoso's were to big for my room as were the De Capo's)...the Dulcetes are great as an alternative in a small upstairs room I use..photos in the Gallery.

Talking of the Gallery please put some photos in there of your system/gear...I know everyone will agree that we all would love to see them.

Well, my CD player is somewhere in the garage, too... I thought I would keep it for the youngsters but the prefer the Squeezebox...

Welcome Ari. Have a seat. :)
Plenty of metal fans here, although we listen to almost everything. I was listening to Stratovarious and Scar Symmetry two days ago. ;)

Welcome from me as well, it is nice to see another vinyl addict Finn here. I have been told by my parents that the weather is finally turning cold there .

There are really knowledgeable and friendly people here on this forum. It is perfect time to buy Hi-fi from UK at the moment because Pound has plummeted against Euro and VAT is still 15% untill end of the year.
