As part of my clear out is my beast of an amp from Japan in near mint condition except for the missing speaker terminal thumb screw, this has never bothered me .
Computer drive new CLASS A .
This is one of those products that has slipped under most people's radar ...read the reviews!! This is a serious bit of kit .

It's Technics computer driven new class A ( for those anal people out there!! ) yes it's a marketing ploy but this amp sounds bloody awesome and easily competes with my Accuphase.

I wouldn't describe differentiating between class A and technics new class A as being anal.
