Fidelity Research FRT-3 SUT (step up transformer) for low output MC cartridges.

30 ohm, 10 ohm and bypass setting. The bypass allows you to change to an MM cartridge and still leave the SUT connected.

This is not mint. It has signs of use appropriate to its forty odd years of age, but it is perfectly serviceable and looks basically OK.

I've used it with a large variety of Japanese MCs, Ortofons and a Goldring Eroica LX and it sounds extremely good.

I was lucky enough to acquire one of these SUTs from Geoff a while back.

I find it brings so much air and life to recordings - an absolute steal at this price and mine is going nowhere! :cool:
