HELP! - Where do you source Cherry wood off cuts?

I'm thinking about having a couple of new plinths made for the Lenco and Garrard and fancy a little Shindo copy. I'm looking to purchase some cherry wood off-cuts, does anyone have a decent source or suggest a supplier?
