Cleaning vinyl

Don't know if this is the right category for this thread but here goes.Got a mint copy of the lambrettas kickstart but last year after a burglary the police in there infinite wisdom decided to use finger print dust on the surface of the vinyl the album still plays mint but the finger print dust looks terrible when you put it up to the light wonder if any of you guys know of anything that might remove this without damaging the vinyl:D

Have you run it through an RCM?

should come of with a normal cleaning liquid tbh. the powder sticks to oil from skin ridges. may well have dried so might need a it longer to soften. if stuck a ittle dab of fairy gently rubbed on first then wiped off b4 cleaning might remove it
