DC blocker unit as per the E-Bay listing below;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1316546669...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I bought this from the E-Bay seller (via his website after initial e-mail discussion) a couple of months back to mitigate transformer hum in a new pair of Croft 7R mono power amplifiers. It reduced the hum effectively but did not fully eliminate it.

From trial and error it seems that the Crofts have now settled down, they hum no more, so this unit is now surplus to requirements.

The unit is fitted with a UK 3-pin plug socket orientated at 90 degrees as per the "advice" in the E-Bay listing as shown in the photo.

Might be worth a punt if you are suffering transformer hum. Used briefly but "as new". Asking £55 delivered in the UK.

Based in Chippenham, Wiltshire if collection desired.

Cheers

Anthony
