I bought these from Steve a couple of years ago, and been really happy with them and would like to keep them but I can't have 2 pairs in the house.
I also bought some' wings' for them about a year or so a which helped with the bass definition and rounded the sound off.
They are in super condition and have their original boxes.
I am more than happy to demo.

I would prefer collection and I'm willing to meet halfway in south west If necccesary.

They are birch with grey..I can't seem to post pictures so pm I have taken plenty. See Danny's post for pictures

Are they just sitting on the plinths? They don't look quite centred.

They do just sit on the plinths and the drivers are Alpair 7's.

Cheers Dan. Yep they sit on small pieces of sorbothane, as recommended by Steve at electric beach. Not centred as I've moved them to take pictures. They ate the grey Alpair 7 drivers in gun metal grey. I have more pictures should anyone require them

In my room they tightened up the bass mostly, which smoothed the sound. These speakers excel at vocals and acoustic genres in particular.
I had tried implementing sub roofers but the constant faffing drove me wild. The wings stopped the faff.

They tightened up the bass mostly, I had tried subwoofers but couldn't implement them to my satisfaction. Too boomy. Its quite subtle but I wouldn't have the speakers without them now.

Great speakers that arent too fussy about amplification. The plinths make positioning them easy. Steve built me a pair which are keepers.

Ah, thought they should be but they look a lot darker in the photo. I've got a pair of Frugelhorn 3s - self assembled - but with the paper version, Alpair 7p. They do indeed sound good. Also have the Frugelhorn XLs with the 10p
