Just listening to one of the tracks I'm currently downloading from these folks (https://www.hdtracks.com/index.php).
The artist in question is Johnny A (https://www.hdtracks.com/index.php?file=artistdetail&id=4738), and I like his guitar playing a lot.
Earlier on I downloaded this (https://www.hdtracks.com/index.php?file=artistdetail&id=4741) album by Allan Holdsworth.
I've got some good new music to listen to tonight:)
If you want to give the site a go and you're not resident in the USA you'll need to pay via your paypal account.
I think that all of the major record labels should look closely at what can be done with regard to satisfying customer demand - the files I downloaded are all FLAC at 16/44.1 resolution (ie CD standard) - I'm not happy about the idea of paying for any lossy format, and will not do so.
To date all downloaded music I have bought has been losslessly compressed FLAC's.
