FS: Teac VRDS-T1 Transport - Spares Or Repair

I purchased this recently but it has a fault with the drawer not opening

I have taken a very quick peek inside and can see there is a broken cog which might explain why the drawer doesn't open but there maybe other reasons as well which I didn't see

So I am selling this as 'spares or repair' as I don't have the knowledge to repair it

It is boxed and has the instructions and the remote control

On eBay the same unit has sold for as much as £160 for a 'spares or repair' one and upto about £180 for a working one so I guess it has to be worth £80 if someone has the knowledge to repair it. Open to reasonable offers or course

As this is quite heavy it is for pick up only from Portsmouth

Just an idea I had when I had a similar issue with my arcam delta 250 (but then found a new cog online as they are still made in China to meet demand for replacements due to Philips using the wrong grease). I had planned on removing the damaged cog so that the drawer moved freely in and out and then glueing some sort of handle to the drawer front to manually open it a la Naim.
