Buggered up the title of the previous thread.

This very fine amplifier is now officially for sale due to the imminent arrival of tubes chez boom.

As you will see in the pictures she has had a hard life before arriving in my arms.
On first arrival there was a fault with the volume pot. Using its own preamp you just got no sound until halfway up the dial you were suddenly at full volume (really very loud).
Stripped her down and diagnosed a try joint on the volume pot then reflowed the entire volume PCB. Fixed.
Another issue I discovered was an occasionall fault in the input select switch. I swapped this for the record select switch which worked well. So recording is possible but the switch is flaky.
While in there I cleaned the amp quite thoroughly .

While uploading those I remembered that I have also cleaned the (Alps) volume pot and the output relays and adjusted the bias to spec.
