I find myself with an interesting conundrum, having taken the plunge with a rp3 and a iqaudio digi+ my myryad mp100/ma120 bi amp suffered a right channel woofer drop out necessitating an amp switch to my Yamaha RX-v375.
Could I believe my ears! My SB Touch playing into Beresford Caiman ii (my third Beresford incarnation) into the myryad I feel was less revealing.
I'm using Moode 2.7 initially with a USB HD as music source to the rp. I've now configured my Synology 213j NAS and its what I'm listening to now as I type, Khymera The Greatest Wonder incidentally.
I'm hearing much more that's in the mix from this AV amp and digital system. So I thought I would ask where we feel our sonic upgrades can come from? I am wondering which way to turn now with amps an AV or something from the traditional audiophile side of the market. How are you all finding the comparison av to 'normal' amplifier?
Anybody feel the Allo piano beats the beresford? Or would replace their AV/amp with the Volt?
