View Full Version : Greetings from the Left Coast!
Hi,
I am excited to join these forums.
I got back into vinyl a few years ago, and now spend way too much time (but not money, being a cheapskate professional musician!) twiddling with cartridge alignment, record cleaning, and speaker placement.
Thanks for having me!

Hello Kenji. Welcome to AOS.

Hi Kenji, and welcome to the forum.
I'm guessing you are into classical music ;) and perhaps have a better system than you are letting on? Anyway good to have you here.
I'm into noisy music - 20th century orchestral stuff like Stravinsky, Bartok, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Varese. And noisy rock/folk like the Kinks, Wolf Parade, Howlin' Wolf, Velvet Underground (I'm a violist!).
My system: Grado XF-3 (8mz stylus), Technics SL-220, Linn Sara 9s bi-amped with NAD 3020 for tweeters, Nikko Alpha II for woofers.
Also have a Pioneer SX-737 that sounds very warm. And an old tube Electrohome Montego console that defines warm (but needs a recap).
Hi , welcome to forum Kenji.. i see you have 2 threads... i will delete one for you
Welcome to AoS Kenji.
Impressive credentials, do you listen to recordings of your orchestra?
Enjoy the Forum
