Good day gentlemen. Interest check here. Thinking of selling my 401. It has a rather huge plinth as you can see from the arty farty picture. This means that pick up would be preferable from my gaff in Teesside or a meeting at a sensible distance. Shipping is out of the question for obvious reasons. Happy to sell it with or without the Jelco tonearm. Will post asking price shortly.

Nice. Some non "arty" pics would be good if possible, to see the wood. Is it oak veneer?

I look forward to seeing the price.

Hi Alan. Great chatting to you at Mibo. I have some old faves i will revert to using but due to bad arthritis in my spine and left knee i am having major problems following lifting this brute. It's a great sounding TT hooked up to my FB. In addition i have decided to retire my Tascam from Public performances due to not being able to move the day after Mibo.

Times they are a changing. There was a time this Garrard would have had a disorderly cue forming.

It's a tad far away from me....
And it's coming up to Christmas.

Ha, that plinth looks familiar! Different feet, so must be the long-lost twin. Mine was nice oak veneer ...

Anyway, it was bloody good ... not a trace of rumble to be heard ... whole-heartedly recommended. And it's amazing what micro-surgery can do for hernias nowadays :D

Bumpety bumpety bump bump bump. Decided to sell my rather splendid but heavy as hell Garrard 401. It has a new bearing, runs as sweet as a nut, sounds and looks very good indeed. It has on board as mentioned above a Jelco 750D tonearm which is only months old bought from MCRU. Got the box for the jelco and all that comes with it. It also has a flippin good red tonearm cable with bullet plugs. It will need to be picked up from my home in Teesside or arrange a meet at a sensible distance between two points. Me wants 900 quid innit?
Sounds a lot till you have a shufty round on the net and you will find this is a bloody good buy. Just saying! Get in touch if you want to come and have a listen coffee n cake included in the dem. [COLOR="#FF0000"]s o l d.
