Long shot - Wondering if anyone has a real cheap half decent TT gathering dust?

Wanted to set a good friend of mine up with a vinyl setup, but realising its way out of budget going new, thought maybe someone has one they want to part with?

A Project Elemental or Genie would be idea, I think the design she would prefer, but anything half decent would be considered

Asround 50 quid budget.

Or happy to a do trade with the Full Music 12AX7's valves I have up for sale

You should be able to find something like a Pioneer PL12D for that.

I bought one last year for my gf for a tenner on Gumtree and it sounds wonderful :)

Michael I've got a Dual 505 / Shure M75 that I can do for £50 plus postage.

Improved performance through fixing the headshell carrier, replacement belt fitted recently.

A great budget deck for someone to get up and running!

Thanks Alan, is is the black one or the 80's silver?

The design of it is more important that performance at this stage, hence the interest in the PRoject units

It's the black one. The cover has cracks above the rear hinges that have been strengthened with short metal strap bars.
