Hi All,

I have this very nice Yamaha DSP-E800 for sale in very good condition.

A versatile machine which can be used as a quality remote controlled preamp with a Dac, or a DTS and Dolby Digital processor.
A great way of adding surround sound (2 rear channels and centre) to your HiFi without compromising your exsisting main setup.

Sounds very good, which isn't surprising looking at the build quality.
A very nice motorised volume control.

It can also be used as an excellent power amp with a passive or tube pre as I discovered quite by accident when using it as temporary cover in my second system.

I should have added the options of single source remote control volume straight line amp with the surround inputs on the 6ch input (but with the external decoder switch set the other way to the power amp setting) or a great but not quite as clean multi source remote integrated when set to "disco" mode (i.e. All 5 channels the same output). I still preferred the sound to my Nad c350 in the latter mode it was cleaner and more neutral in the highs if a little thinner in the bass (but better for smaller rooms).
