Hi alex im from Bournemouth in the Uk i listen too accoustic stuff that really sounds nice with the cyrus i also listen to a wide range of rock music but sometimes its a bit too bright lol:lolsign: i am using Linn K20 speaker cable at the moment i think it goes nicely with the Rogers LS7'S and the Arcam which i think is good value for the money i only paid £70 for and and the cyrus was cheap too only £85. Tap back let me know what you think
Cheers Dan, sounds like a super budget system you've got there - if you spent the same on a mini system, and - well, you didn't did you? - 'coz you knew proper hifi was the way to go! On the assumption that the "91" in your name means you're 18, what prompted you to go hifi - always interesting to hear how people got into it.
I don't have any experience of your system's components, so not sure what may be casuing the brightness with rock, but someone here will no doubt have an idea - Dave (DSJR) springs to mind, as he is a wealth of knowledge on old kit, and sometimes he's even right too! (sorry Dave!)
Double post - how does that happen? :)
