In the midst of the effects of Global Warming, we now (supposedly) face a fifteen year plunge in temperatures. Hmm. That makes sense.

Well....I don't think the warming of this planet influences what's happening on the Sun. We'd be in for a worse cool down due the the Sun cooling were it not from global warming (whatever its causes).

Ive found the suns influence on winters to go in cycles of 5 to 7 years, varying up and down in a sine wave. I said somewhere earlier i think that we are about to slip into the cold section of this cycle and i expect some hard winters for a few years.
Just my take

Yes. Cycles of glorious summers and then periods of dull ones with harsh winters are all part of the norm.

It's rare that they correctly predict tomorrow's weather, so I take all these things with a bucket of salt

Overall the weather and everything involved with it is a phenomenally complex thing that has so many variables, no one or computer can get close to predicting what will happen in the years to come. Most will say a 5 day forecast is the futhest they can get relatively accurate. Mother nature and the cosmos can snuff out any predictions made like a candle

I just disbelieve anything the Express prints. Saves time.
