iPad issue

My iPad has suddenly developed a problem, when I open music it is frozen on the library screen. I have re-booted etc any ideas?

Do you have it backed up to cloud or pc? If so then do a restore. There are 2 options. You probably know how to do it. Or look online. There have been a few updates in software etc. Im on 10.1 i think. But there is another update awaiting me which im holding off doing for a few days

Others is have you downloaded any new apps... if the music app was downloaded and you can delete then reinstall. Ive had that too

it was frozen before the latest update and have just updated no change, I have also tried to sync the music but no joy.

now sorted deleted and reinstalled - just need to work out how to move music icon to the grey bar again

Try this first,
1-On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Music and turn off “Show Apple Music”

2-Force close the Music app by double pressing the home button and and swipe up on the Music app’s preview. The reopen again.

If not then next bit might apply

You need to first try a restore. Switch off then on and hold buttons til the cable icon comes on. Connect to itunes and try restore first. If that doesnt fix it then you might have to restore to new machine. If you have a back up and its clean youll be ok. If not then you might have to start from scratch.
