Hi there,

My name is Dmitriy and I am relatively new to Hi-Fi.

At the moment I have:
>> Dali Ikon 6 speakers with some modifications - new wiring, separated Mid and Sub chambers, added bottom phase port (front is temporary blocked )
>> Audio Innovatons Ultra 100 Silver plated cables
>> Rotel RB-971 Power Amp
>> Van den Hul the SUB coaxial interconnect (I know it's intended for subwoofer, but I really like it... plus I got it for free)
>> Passive Pre-amp (just a stepped attenuator to be precise)
>> Tablet PC running Windows 10 - as a source of signal

Planning:
>> More mods to Ikons
>> Getting NVA LS6 cables
>> Hopefully upgrading to NVA amp
>> Getting Chord Hugo or Mojo DAC
>> Will see...

Hello friends :)

Well... Speaking of music... I enjoy nearly every kind of music. I prefer to pick cherries from different styles, rather than focusing at some specific one.
It's easier to list what I don't like - R&B and Top-40. Anything else - with pleasure. From classics to dub-step :)
In terms of equipment - Ikons have their own preferences. They are brilliant with Instrumental music, vocals are charming... they can handle some Rock. But for electronic music they are too crisp (imho).

Since my first post I have replaced few bits and added one...
I have got NVA A60 Stereo amp. It requires very special speaker cables, so I had to buy a set of NVA LS6. Then replaced an interconnect cable with NVA Super Sound Cord to make a full kit.
Finally managed to find Chord Mojo for a reasonable price! Nice little box :)

I have played around making some pure silver interconnects with cotton dielectric. I actually quite like the result, so the next step will be a single solid core 2.4mm ultra pure 99.999% silver interconnect with cotton and teflon dielectric.

The NVA A60 has been smashed in transit - the top lid shattered, exposing internals to sunlight :) Seller refunded nearly half to compensate damage and small rewiring job expenses.
Now I am thinking of building a couple of Power supplies and splitting the amp into two monoblocks :) I want to do some research regarding regulated PSU firts. Any ideas?

I also had, but newer considered as a strong competitor: Yamaha DSP-A595a, Rotel RSX-1055, Marantz PM-44SE, Marantz PM4200, NAD C320BEE...
