One of team Lodgesound ( Phil ) has mede me some XLR cables XLR -XLR using Vandam studio cable OFC with posh ends , Now I can plum in my Alice Matchpack :eyebrows:

Its up and running and sounding rather pleasing :D

PPM meters allow you to calibrate and line up your R2R according to standard levels e.g. BBC -4dB Zero level at PPM4. If you have a test tape, a PPM meter and some test tones, you can calibrate any machine (as long as the heads aren't all over the shot)
