Always had a little soft spot for the ''Swizzels refreshers''. Especially the strawberry flavoured one.
What about you lot?

Cider flavour Blobs, from the 70's. These days don't bother, apart from some root ginger chews can't remember the make.
i liked refreshers... sort of sherbet in tab form. Aztec bars.. I liked them when younger. we had lots of good sweets and choc bars then. the sherbet tube with a licorice straw too... cant remember the name, but was popular when at school. Jammy dodgers too; proper ones they sold in the tuck shop.. Gobstoppers too

For some reason. I like the chocolate they use in cheap Easter eggs.

me too... Its sweet and milky. soft too. Probably very bad for me as well. My grandkids get dozens of them, and I'm banned from going there at easter :D

I lurve chocolate - any chocolate. The past year, since Aldi opened up in Saffron Walden, we have been buying their chocolate. It's far nicer IMO than anything Cadburys now make and a third the price. A bar of choc with Almonds is absolutely packed full and not an occasional nut as you get with other makes. They also do their own version of fancy chocolate, similar to Green and Black but a third the price and just as good.

I didn't think of that.. just a bit short in the leg department that's all
Ive got short legs too... must have been all those sour grapes sweets i used to eat. Ah the days of the wee sweetie shop with all those jars of candy getting sold in white penny pokes
We have a shop here that sells all the old traditional sweets: toffees; humbugs; liquorice 'Pontefract cakes'; aniseed balls; chocolate covered brazil nuts, etc. etc.
Very occasionaly I might buy 'a quarter' of aniseed balls to remind me of times long past.
Sweet Tobacco, Dolly Mixture, Kola Kubes, Love Hearts and Black Jacks were all in my itinerary
