New CD player or transport ?

Hi all. My marantz CD 6000 ose ki has lost most of one channel. Im thinking it's not worth me repairing it and btw It exits to an audiolab MDAC. So, really I just need a transport so one of those new or a used CD player will be good enough for me. Looking thru a few posts I can see that the pioneer pds-505 (or any '05') player would be good as would a Cambridge CXC.

Or,...... should it be time for a NAS and all that brings (I also need a new laptop) ?

Plenty options Richard.. most of the old battleship dvd players make good transports and can be had at a fraction of their new price as they dont have hdmi. Most folk need that for dvd now so worth looking that direction as well. Many out perform cd player only versions.
