Up for grabs is my A1 working condition Denon AVC-A1D in champagne gold.

It's just sat in my rack doing nothing so I thought I'd try passing it on.
Collection only on this please due to the size and weight which is nearing 30kg plus I haven't the original box.

I'm also after a DAC so I may consider a swap.

I think your right Grant. It's a lot of amp for the money and it sounds superb. It's a shame to have to sell it but I haven't the room for it in the rack.

Fabulous amp, incredible bargain at the asking price. I have the next version after it 6.1 DolbyEX and DTS ES, but essentially the Denon being sold is similar and frankly it eats a newer Yamaha AV amp I have, more weight, scale, effortless sound steering and if you hook this up to a good stereo pre it will do very good two channel as well.

Thanks Neil, I totally agree. It out performs a couple of AV amp I've heard. If only it had HDMI I think people would snap this up.

I'm going to keep this as a spare. I think it's to much amp for to little money so no longer for sale (for the time being)

Crazy thing is you don't need HDMI in an amp, make all your connection to the TV, and sound via a CoAx lead. I have never used any AV amp I have owned as a video switcher.

Good decision on keeping it.
