I've been an audio nut for as long as I can remember (but like, I can only remember the last 15 years). You may well be wise keeping your self in the dark, my personal opinion is it may or may not provide improvments in sound - possibly depending on the person - maybe down to belife maybe not... It's a very grey area! One thing it would seem is that it is a road to possible insanity! We had a run in with a chap named ... Well I'm not sure we realy ever new his name?? And he was a loony, very agresive in his postings, contradictory, long winded and he got everyones back up in a big way... It looks like this guy could be the same person using a different name, it might not be... But the evidence is stacked against him at the mo!

It all fits the bill, he's been away long enough for the medication to kick (back) in, but it wont be long before it wears off again (no doubt he feels better therefore will not continue with it) and it will be round and round in ever decreasing circles.
The problem, as I see it, is how far does this forum and its members wish to be drawn into someones' illness, make no mistake this guy is ill. To illustrate, if a friend or family member suffers an illness or injury, a broken leg say, then we tend to rally round to help the individual in their hour of need. This is a natural response and is well understood as part of the social dynamic forming the healing process. Those suffering psycho/social/emotional distress usually present those who care most about them with a difficulty, it being obvious to them that help is needed but the sufferer does not see that a problem exists and usually ends up isolating themselves from friends and family.
So, where does the person turn to, enter the internet. These days it's all too easy for anyone to go online and find ways to reinforce whatever crazy delusional system you care to imagine, this tends to take the form of obscure religious cults (Google 'David Ike' sometime) alien mind control and unfortunately for us pseudo scientific crap like Beltism. Why should this concern us? Simply, the more attention (need not be positive, by the way) is given to the likes of Joe/Paul/ Shippy/Sondhaspriority or whoever he is, then the more credence his delusions have for him and the greater the reinforcement of his illness. How would any of the members here feel to read in say six months time of a poor crazy person who had to be scraped off a NYC pavement after having jumped from the top of a skyscraper clad only in a tin-foil hat and clutching a handful of green felt tip pens, not a great prospect is it?

Now then, Nurse, I'm off to the 'Who Would Have Thought It' for a few lunchtime liveners, don't bother with dinner I'll be calling at the 'Bunga-da-Kinnit' kebab shop on the way back, I hear the new Ginger Cat-sup Hot Sauce is worth a try, and if that JC chap calls tell him his inbox is full, toodle pip!
