View Full Version : Raspberry Pi with IQAUDIO PiDAC - For Sale
Raspberry Pi with IQAUDIO PiDAC in IQAUDIO gloss black case.
Uses SD card for whichever software you wish, I use MoOde, but you could use Rune, Volumio, Max2play whichever you prefer.
This has been in my main system using an HDPlex Linear PSU and sounds great. I'm only selling as I need a Pi 3 to be able to use the Piano 2.1 DAC and Reclocker from Allo.

For anyone wanting to dip their toe into the dark digital side these are an excellent performing little unit. I started off with the same combination and still have here as a standby ;)
Please excuse my ignorance - but i am looking for a FLAC player
Currently i use a squeezebox touch on one set up
The FLAC files are in a NAS - all is good there
I want to set up another system to play FLAC
Someone told me a Rasberry Pi is a cheap solution.
Is this what i need?
Can I plug this into an amp ( or will i need a DAC) and can it access the files on my NAS via ethernet cable?
Many thanks

You get dacs that sit ont top the rpi . Just plug on. Iq audio, audiophonics etc. Pick software of your choice like moode or volumio and your pretty much there. Box it the way you want, it needs configuring but works well with nas. Many of the guys use them with nas
This is all ready fitted with IQAUDIO DAC and just requires a 5v 2a PSU and either an SD card or micro SD and adapter, if buying new what I am selling would cost just over £80.
Lets say its connected to a NAS
How would one select music or file to play ?
Screen?
I use MoOde installed on the SD card and it's all setup using a web page and once settings are done you can access via a webpage on your PC/Tablet/Smartphone or you can also access it via Bubble uPnP app on android, you can also Airplay music from an iOS device to MoOde on the Pi as well.
Here's an example of what MoOde looks like.

You can install Picoreplayer instead of MoOde and it uses squeezelite and LMS on either your PC ( needs to be running ) or LMS on your server
This is still for sale, just add a power adapter and memory card and you're good to go

Don't think you will regret it, for such an inexpensive bit of kit it sounds really good.

I've sent a pm requesting name to go with the address, but as yet no reply, can you message me with name of the person I have to send it to, don't think post office will accept a Special Delivery item for posting without a name.
Thanks,
Mike.
