Avatar Alley!

Do you use an avatar? If so, what made you choose the one you have?

If you do not use one, do you consider that it may be good to do so? To an extent, the choice of image adds to the perception other members have of you. And of course, it brightens up the 'What's New' page and wherever else your posts appear.

My avatars go through periods of fluctuation. Steady with a regular one for while. Then for a bit of entertainment I run a selection of what I regard as interesting or funny images, before reverting to one that is a usual choice.

I use one. If nothing else they brighten up the place, and can add a little something to the site and the poster.

I use a jazzy closeup picture of my speakers.

My Avatar reflects whatever is interesting me most in my system at the moment. Boring I know!:)

Mine reflects a combination of all my interests, listening to music, vintage style/fashion, smoking and of course a comfortable chair. My Mrs says I also look a bit like the chap in the chair, whoever he is. You can see for yourself in the thread in the abstract gallery.

Nope, the Techie enjoys it's own dedicated shelf and sits on two layers of sorbothane. Aside from the fact I have concrete floors in my place, I can pogo beside it and it wouldn't miss a beat.:lol:

I'll be on the naughty step with album purchases for a good while after having a bit of a daft holiday blow out but I'll give it a blast on tossify when it comes out, vinyl will have to wait.
