I bought these recently hoping to put some new capacitors in but I'm not sure I'll have the time for a very long while so I'd like to pass them on to someone who can give them the care they really need. They are all working fine but I do find that any speakers of this age benefit greatly from a new set of caps. I can provide advice to anyone who hasn't done it before.

These are a very rare late pair as they have the later version of the Kef B139 racetrack woofer, a true classic. I believe they are a 1/8 wave transmission line design and they are stuffed full of real wool as you find with the best TL designs of the 70s. The cabinets have a few knocks as you would expect but are in very fair condition for their age. There are also a few scratches to the white metal baffle surrounds which could be covered up easily enough with a bit of enamel modelling paint.

I think £140 is a very fair price for these rare classics. I am based in North London not far from the A10 A406 and M25.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161001/61a950b1e10c6a4a65f0d1dff7f59e33.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161001/b0188404ae0f897fd21b3740178e5a17.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161001/bf80a682d464e7b82b6bcdfc1e9c762d.jpg

Thanks Grant there's a small scratch to the top of one and a knock to the veneer on one corner. But overall better than most of the vintage speakers I've acquired over the years. They are also the heaviest speakers I've had of similar size the cabinets are very solid.

They look lovely. If I had room, I'd jump to buy them. They are a bargain.
