Doing a project at the moment and was keen on some feedback regarding an enclosure design I have.
Maybe some of you guys on here have experimented with this type of enclosure before?
Box is roughly 165 Litres, with 12" mid & planar tweeter. Will sit on a stand.
Was thinking of using a combo of Dynamat and speaker wool for damping as required.

Your idea is similar to the Hartley Boffle speaker. Try Googling that.

Thanks heaps will do
In the interests of Saving yourself Some Coin.
Suggest Peel 'n stick Ice and water shield/proofing SBS Membranes. [Which IS what Dynamat is albeit relabelled]
Although the Construction material variety is almost free by comparison.

Cheers dude, never thought of that....thanks for the tip!
Check also PHY-HP minikit design. Had ages ago the one with the their 8 inch silver wired units and it definitely had some magia there..
These look like they may suit open baffle speakers like the Saba Greencones. It should help to reinforce the base by hindering the rear sound wave.
