Looking for guide to setting suspension on Thorens TD-160

Anyone got any links to a dummies guide to setting up the suspension on a Thorens TD-160

Well, just undo the bottom plate from the plinth. On a table, set up 4 pillars (drink cans or bottles) as "high feet" for the bottomless TD160. Then when stable enough and you have a good access underneath it, twist the bolts under the 3 springs to adjust the platter floating horizontal and 3 to 6 mm above the top plate. That's that !

You also need to twist the whole rubber things that the springs sit on in order to get it bouncing properly and centralised horizontally. vastly more important to get the bounce good than for it to be visually centralised though!

Although it turned out to be a stupid error on my part and it didn't need adjusting

As I had picked it up from the seller myself and it was taken from were it was in use and demonstrated, I just took it home plugged it in and away it went, until a week or so later when I thought to myself, its not got much bounce to it.

You have probably already guessed what comes next

Yep it still had the transit screws done up, don't know if the seller had done them up for the sale or had been running it like that himself.

Ooops

Its got a nice bounce now.
