Like many on here I'm always looking to maximise performance versus cost (!) ..... I came across this little amp and I have to say it is a very impressive performer but I couldn't quite give up my Clones pre/mono set-up (which is no great surprise given the relative cost ) ..... knocks socks of any t-amp type etc i've tried .... made in Japan so finish is excellent but it does mean there is v little on the web (that I can find atleast) but it is basically the IBUKI amp as described on the website as far as I can tell -- I suspect it may be the export version of that amp but I cannot claim this as a fact even though all specs are the same ....

This is not a digital amplifier.

Does anybody sell digital amps? I know there are digitally controlled amps, but I don't think they are quite the same thing.

The Musica Corp is rather neat though Chris.

that was a quote from the website --- translated I suspect !....... yep its really neat and in answer to Grant's question it's actually dual input which is q unusual and useful --- I have it connected direct to my old reliable Rega Planet CD and it sounds really lovely as long as you dont over push it volume wise ( and I mean to ear splitting levels ) ... other input will be for my server/dac but just waiting for my SPDIF convertor to arrive back ...... the large knob is the volume and small switch changes inputs ..... I suspect the PSU could be upgraded to great effect as it is a basic 12v walwart job --- there's more performance in this I'm sure but as ever cash flow is my problem !!!
cheers

NB And I apologise in advance for this ---- a glass has been taken ! ---- but I'm going through one of my 'what do I really want given the cost' days (!) ...... and a small neat little system has such great appeal ...... for some reason the MAD 1920 speakers I've listed aren't selling and the thought of putting those together with this Musica and old faithful Rega Planet and just listening to some good CDs is very appealing

I have more music downloaded on my Innuos Zen but - funnily enough- I seem to play my favourite tracks on it that i still have CDs of ! .......

SO if mods don't object.. the Zen into SWIX usb/spdif and then into SWIX DAC via Clones AP1 and 55 monoblocks into Audio Note ANJ/B s DOES SOUND BETTER but if anyone wants to buy the better kit today let me know ( I might be completely sober tomorrow!)
Zen 2TB + SW1X convertor + SWIX DAC + Clones AP1/55 Monos + ANJ with stands and all ( pretty decent) interconnects etc and a quality hydra mains -----£2,550 collected ----- let fate decide ! BUt only selling as a complete systemhttp://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t616/Chrismoore50/IMG_2729_zpsyv4dqaoi.jpghttp://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t616/Chrismoore50/IMG_2730_zpsdkc96lww.jpghttp://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t616/Chrismoore50/IMG_2731_zpsl59onlri.jpghttp://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t616/Chrismoore50/IMG_2733_zps1ft74ekm.jpg
