Following a moment of indecision, which resulted in me withdrawing this cartridge from the sales classifieds on this forum a couple of weeks back, I have decided I do in fact want to sell it. Why? because I feel that fundamentally, I only really need one cartridge, only one arm, one phono stage etc. Anything more than that is, for me anyway, just faff. So I am wanting to sell off a few surplus items that I have allowed myself to collect over time (including the Hadcock tone arm which makes a superb partner for this cartridge - see separate listing).
Anyway, this sale is for my Decca Gold cartridge. That's the elliptical stylus model. It is in very good condition, having been overhauled (stylus realigned and cart recalibrated) by John Wright earlier this year. His written report (comes with the cartridge) states that stylus wear is "minimal" and since then I have put on maybe thirty hours - probably not even that. Always used in optimal conditions and handled with care. £425 including delivery in the UK.
