Been a fan of both bands for years - of course when it's pointed out to you............

Apparently, Syd had never heard it, but had it hummed to him by someone who had, so it was was the 'hum' that was the real inspiration :)

That's the song that Roger Glover cited as being the one that was the "inspiration" for Black Night.
