View Full Version : Bill Beard BB100 part needed
Help! My beloved Bill Beard BB100 is missing one of its fuse holders lost in a recent move and I have no idea where I can get a replacement. Having to listen in mono is driving me nuts so have to find a solution quickly :D I have even thought of 3D printing the part but that's my last resort.
Any pointers as to where to find one will be greatly appreciated! I have attached a pic of its twinhttps://www.dropbox.com/s/eekfyxo3b0vfni2/20160911_133144.jpg?dl=0

I doubt you will be able to buy one of those on its own as it's part of an IEC mains socket. One from various makes will probably do if you have some other gear you can borrow one from. You could even just put a fuse in without the holder (unplug it from mains first!) as it is only there to make it easy to remove the old fuse... you may want to tie some string round the fuse first so you can get it out again;)
Thanks Jez. Will try your approach as it seems quite simple while trying not to break the fuse.
I had a BB100 and remember the part. Jez, I have just looked at a load of IEC mains sockets in Google and that part does not appear to be part of such a socket. I have never seen one anywhere else.
Did you look at the pic supplied by Peter?
