I have been toying with the idea of getting a pizza oven. Initially I was looking at getting a kit to convert my Weber charcoal BBQ, but a friend has recently bought a Uuni pizza oven that looks old superb - https://uk.uuni.net/products/uuni-2?gclid=CJTSnIisic8CFaLNcgodEwEJXw

Does anybody have experience of these things?
Just wondering what would be best. Dedicated oven or BBQ conversion.

I built a big barbie with an oven many moons ago. The thing was bought as a unit and you had to build a stone or brick design of your choice to house it.... Was really good as it cost me the price of a bag of cement... I had everything else lying around.. Think the unit cost a tenner in a b&q closing sale

For 200 notes it looks pretty good. 60 seconds to cook a pizza!

It can warm up while you put the pizza together. I don't like to cook anything that takes longer than 20 minutes from start to finish. Not that this is any use to me as I don't have an 'outside kitchen'. The indoor one isn't up to much either.

Do you mainly just eat bread & water? You do have a rather 'lanky' and skinny build as well.

I honestly never knew such things existed! Given a choice, I would eat home-made pizza to the exclusion of all else. This is really bad. I mean really, really bad. It could kill me .... :drool:

500 degC? That's a furnace, isn't it?

I'm now going to google 'pizza oven'. You may never hear from me again.

Home made pizza is fab. used to make them all the time when younger.. Ive just made some base dough for the grandkids party. its wrapped and in fridge.

None taken man. Yes, always been skinny with a quite small appetite.Only time I put weigh on is when I go to the States. Or that time I worked next door to a KFC and was eating there every day. Put on half a stone n two weeks.
