I have a Philips CD753 (aka Marantz CD5000) on the way.

The 2 large power caps are 4700uf 16v and 3300uf 16v.

I had KGs ins in mind, though not sure, previous players I have used Elna Tonerex, FG and KW. KGs appear more expensive than the others

KGs are 4700uf 35v Type II
3300uf 16v TypeIII?

Use Panasonic FCs for the main filter caps.

Be careful with recapping other areas as low-ESR can create problems e.g. after some regulator chips, they can cause them to oscillate.

Hi Neil
Thanks for the reply and suggestion. FC and have to be careful of low ESR caps. I plan to upgrade the only regulator to a newer TI 7805 with better specs lower noise than the old.
